tokana's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Done w/ HLR Yesterday was my last day. That's it. No more work for me until I don't know when. I'm nervous, about bills and what not, but it is liberating to know that I don't have to go back. I've got 12 days left until the big trip. I have six boxes packed and who knows how many to go. Chris should be in town Wednesday and should be able to stay for at least four days, so hopefully we'll get most of the packing done while he's here. Mom decided that it was too much for the family to have to drive back so she went online and found really cheap plane tickets so they're going to fly back Labor Day morning. In the end I think flying will turn out to be cheaper anyhow. Chris signed the lease on our new townhouse yesterday. He got the keys and everything. They even said he could go ahead and move in since the place is empty already anyhow. That will be a big help since it will allow Chris to move before his on the Friday we're moving. That way when I get there he'll be all moved in and we can spend the first few days I'm in town unpacking and hanging out together.
