tokana's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jobs in KY I went to Cincitucky to visit C, actually never put foot into OH, spent the whole time in KY. He has a new apt. set up with three roommates, it will be cramped (4 guys, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom...) but it's nice. ComAir does a really good job of making the family feel like they're part of the company as well. I was quite impressed with their family orientation. After seeing their technology setup and realizing that they have a phone system I'm certified on I decided to send off my resume to them. I was out of work for one day. By the time I got back today it was a joke. Nothing got done and my already stressful job ballooned - I can't imagine what will happen when I'm out for a week for our Seattle trip! I have intensified my job hunt efforts in Cinci - only problem is finding a job when I don't have a local address. There must be some key to finding a job out of state that I haven't discovered. Anyone care to share? How do you get possible employers to consider you when you live across the country? I am determined though. Even if I have to get onboard with a staffing agency until I find something permanent I am moving in the next four months. I have completely had it with my current job. *sigh* It didn't take long for my bliss like state of mind to be destroyed..stupid job. 7:16 p.m. - May 18, 2005 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
